one happy thought for the night though... i did get to clean up my room... a bit!

also... august 15th was my Dad's 55th Birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, pang! here he is in an old picture with my two favorite people in the world, my siblings Jordan & Jerico.

Good thing my Dad watched the season finale of Grey's Anatomy with me... or else, I would have lost it!

I am furious and greatly disappointed with Meredith. Yes, I know it comes back to being insanely in love, but has she lost her mind! Derek is a married man, which he "forgot" to mention to her from the very start and even when he knows that she is starting to fall for him. He led her on, then he brutally tore her heart out when he chose to stay with Addison.  She had to deal with the humiliation and the judging eyes of her colleagues. She had to cope with the pain and misery of losing the person she looked forward to settling down with. Hope was not lost for Meredith when she finally gets to meet Finn, Doc's vet. He's definitely not McDreamy, but he sure is McYummy! She finally has something to look forward to, but then, McDreamy turned into McJerk. Instead of just being happy that Meredith's finally moved on, he had to meddle and confuse the poor girl at the wake of their beloved dog's death.

If you love someone, but you know that you can't be with them, would you be able to endure seeing them happy with someone else when you know in your heart that it is you that you want them to be happy with?

Izzie has a very loving heart, which most men seem not to notice because of her physical beauty. But Denny sees the real Izzie. The funny, sweet and caring woman who will do just about anything to save the man she loves.  When she found out that Denny is topped by another patient in the donors list by a mere 17 seconds, in a daze, she devised an insane plan, that which intends to make Denny worse so he can proceed with the heart transplant. Unfortunately, Burke, who is the attending in charge of Denny, was a victim of a shooting right outside Seattle Grace Hospital. After much scrambling and confusion, Denny finally got his new heart. That very night, in honour of Chief Richard's dying niece, a prom was in full swing. Izzie, in her beautiful gown, went to drop by her escort's room only to find out that he's dead. I wanted to cry for Izzie. I wanted to cry because of her loss. I wanted to cry because of her grief. She lost a patient, she lost her love, and she lost her fiancée who proposed to her just that very day.

If you love someone, but you know that there's not much chance that you can be together because of an unfortunate fate, would you still risk everything for them?

I wanted to murder Christina, but then she redeemed herself.  Burke's life was in danger and his career is at risk. If the surgery is not a complete success, he may never be able to fully utilize his hand. Christina knows that Burke's passion is performing surgeries. When he asked her for an advice on what to do, she turned her back to him, muttered an excuse and walked away. During Burke's surgery, she was given a chance to be with him at a time when he needed her the most. When they finally stopped the clot, they had to rouse him to check whether he can still move his hand. All she had to do was to keep him calm as soon as he wakes because he will be under a lot of pain, yet she froze and again walked away. After the operation, she walked past his room and saw him struggling with his trembling hand. But instead of getting mad at her, he told her that if she choose not to stay with him anymore, that he won't blame her and that he won't hold a grudge. She postponed talking to Burke until she saw Izzie broke down in the arms of her dead fiancée. She then went to his room and held his damaged hand. She was finally right where she should be.

If you love someone, and they've caused you much sorrow, would you still be able to forgive them and forget the wrongs they've done then go on loving them?

I guess we'll find out in September...

... whether Meredith will take a step towards a new beginning with Finn or back in the arms of Derek.

... what Addison's next move is: divorce or be a martyr?

... if Izzie's dream of being a surgeon died with Denny.

... the outcome of Burke's tragedy and his relationship with Christina.

... if George really loves Callie.

... how Alex really feels towards Izzie.

Forget all clichés about LOVE, except that one that says it makes you do idiotic things, because it really does.

Let's take a look at Izzie from Grey's Anatomy (my fave show for the moment!!!). She was a lingerie model which means that she is drop dead gorgeous and is sizzling hot. She is now an intern in a surgical residency program which also means that she's got the brains. Now in the picture comes Denny Duquette, one of her patients. He's got a bad heart and I mean that literally. He is due to expire anytime soon. But Izzie doesn't see that. What she sees is the wonderful man that he is despite his condition. She can probably have her pick at any man out there, but she chose Denny. What does she do? Risk losing her job, her medical license and DENNY just so he can be priority in the heart donor list. It's not that I intend to keep you on the edge of your seat, but I can't exactly tell what happened next because the Season finale is not until tomorrow night.

I thought stupidity only goes as far back as Romeo + Juliet, I guess I was wrong. There is also Tristan + Isolde. Compared to this two, Juliet and her Romeo is actually forgivable. Biggest casualty was just Mercutio. But with the other lovebirds, the entire land of Britain is in peril. I say, off with their heads for being rush, selfish and too dramatic. So you have both tarnished each other's "purity" and fell in love, big deal! Did they truly believe that consummating their love for each other is top priority compared to protecting the future of an entire country? HAH! The tragedy of young love. It's so sad how Mr. Tristan, because of his love for the Irish Ms. Isolde, forgot that through years of service and hard work, his father's dream (which he died for in the very start of the movie) of uniting Britain under one rule in order to rid the Irish is just a stone's throw away.

So if LOVE is planning to come a-knocking at my door anytime soon... SHOOO! AWAY YOU GO!
